Dost Muhammad Khan
It is an honor to introduce Mr. Dost Muhammad Khan, a senior judicial officer and distinguished member of the judiciary of Peshawar High Court, as our resource person.
Mr. Khan holds an M.A. in Political Science, LL.B., and LL.M. from the University of Peshawar, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in International Human Rights Law offered by Khyber Law College in collaboration with the University of Oslo.
He joined judicial service in 2003 as a Civil Judge and was promoted as Senior Civil Judge in 2014, Additional District & Sessions Judge in 2015, and District & Sessions Judge in 2021. Throughout his career, he has served in diverse field postings across all tiers of the district judiciary.
In addition to his judicial assignments, he has held important ex-cadre positions including Assistant Director (Law) and Deputy Director (Law) at the Anti-Narcotics Force, Director Regulation and Additional Registrar at the Peshawar High Court (Bannu Bench), and senior leadership roles at the KP Judicial Academy, including Senior Director Administration and Director Instructions.
He has received extensive professional training from premier national institutions such as the Federal Judicial Academy, Punjab Judicial Academy, National Police Academy, and ANF Academy, and has attended international courses in Shariah Law in Saudi Arabia and at the Justice Academy in Türkiye.
With his rich experience in judicial administration, criminal justice, regulatory affairs, and judicial training, we are privileged to benefit from his insight and leadership today.
