The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA), Peshawar organized a one-day Online Training Session on Filing of Income Tax Returns via Zoom on 22nd September 2025. A total of 50 Civil Judges from the province participated.
The session was inaugurated with a welcome address by Mr. Ahmed Iftikhar, Dean Faculty. Ms. Faryal Zia Mufti, Sr. Director Administration and Mr. Dost Muhammad Khan, Director Instructions were also present on the occasion.
The training, led by Mr. Muhammad Azam, Advocate, provided practical guidance on the FBR IRIS Portal, declaration of assets, deductions, exemptions, and avoiding common mistakes in filing returns.
This initiative marks the beginning of a phased capacity-building program, ensuring that all tiers of the judiciary—Civil Judges, Senior Civil Judges, Additional District & Sessions Judges, and District & Sessions Judges—receive this essential financial compliance training.
The objectives of the training were to strengthen financial accountability and compliance among judicial officers.
