The KP Judicial Academy organized a three days Training of the Trainers (ToT). The aim of the training was to strengthen the faculty of the Academy, keeping in view its ongoing and future training programs. Focus of the training was to build capacity of the trainees in the following areas:
- Principles of adult-cum- professional learning;
- Formal and informal presentation techniques;
- Golden rules of presentations and use of handouts;
- Preparation of session plan, nature, structure, contents and objectives;
- Power point presentations and the like.
During the first two days, the learners were imparted trainings and on the third day, they made presentations, using the skills learnt. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Yahya Afridi, Chairman of BoG of the Academy / Chief Justice, Peshawar High Court, also joined a session on the final day. Mr. Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan, hon’ble Judge Peshawar High Court, graced the concluding ceremony with his valuable presence. He addressed the participants and distributed certificates amongst them.
Participants of the training included Hafiz Naseem Akbar, Mr. Muhammad Zeb Khan and Mr. Fakhar Zaman, District & Sessions Judges. Amongst the additional district and sessions judges were Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari, Mr. Amjid Zia Siddiqui, Dr. Shakeel Azam Awan, Mr. Zia ur Rehman and Mr. Dost Muhammad Khan. The civil judges cum judicial magistrates selected for the tot were Hafiz Zaeem Ahmad, Mr. Asghar Ali Salarzai and Ms. Irum Nosheen, Civil Judges.
