Training for capacity building of the young lawyers (August 28-30, 2018) was successfully concluded today. The Dean Faculty KP Judicial Academy inaugurated the training. The training course was tailored to the needs of young lawyers to perform efficiently. Young lawyers form Districts Charsadda and Swabi and Tehsils Tangi and Lahor attended the training. The focus of the contents was on areas of legal ethics, Bench Bar relationship, traits of a successful lawyer, Laws Governing the Lawyers, Free Legal Aid, legal research techniques, drafting skill, cross-examination and case presentation skills. Experienced lawyers and judges were the resource persons for the training.
During the concluding ceremony, the class representative expressed regarded the training as effective and useful. He recommended that the number, duration and frequency of such training may be enhanced. The participants extended their profound gratitude to the Peshawar High Court and the Academy for arranging the training.
The Dean Faculty distributed certificates amongst the participants. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of trainings. In the future, the Academy will conduct more trainings of similar nature in which young lawyers from Baluchistan will also participate.
