Today, on Feburary 22, 2025, a 02-week Statutory Training for 35 Additional District and Sessions Judges/ Izafi Zilla Qazis concluded in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA), Peshawar.
The concluding ceremony was chaired by Mr. Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah Hon’ble Chief Justice Peshawar High Court/ Chairman of Board of Governors KPJA as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished personalities included Mr. Asad Hameed Khan Member Inspection Team Peshawar High Court, Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari, Director General KPJA, Mr. Zia Ur Rahman Dean Faculty, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khalil Station Director Radio Meezan, Dr Qazi Ataullah Senior Director Research & Publication and all directors and officers of the Academy.
In his address, the chief guest Mr. Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah congratulated the Additional District and Sessions Judges/ Izafi Zilla Qazis on their succesful completion of two week statutary training. He highlighted the significant role of Additional District and Session Judges/ Izafi Zilla Qazis in district judiciary as Court of Appeal and Revision. He also appreciated the Academy for arranging tour to the Punjab Judicial Academy Lahore for the purpose of cross-provincial professional development.
He shared his professional journey with the participants. He encouraged participants to have unwaveing faith in Allah SWT while administering justice.
The Chief Guest, once again, specifically drew the attention of the participants towards delay of cases and advised them to remain vigilant in all matters particularly in curbing of corruption. The worthy chief guest aslo advised the Judges/Qazis for resolution of cases/disputes through ADR techniques.
Earlier, in his concluding remkarks, the Director General KPJA thanked the Chief Guest for his avaliablity on the occasion and congratulated him on his elevation as Chief Justice Peshawar High Court. He also congratulated the participants on their successful completion of 02-week statutary training.
Class Representative, Mr. Inamullah thanked the Academy for designing diverse training program that helped them in refining their personality not only as judicial officer but as person too.
At the end, certificates were conferred on the participants.
