05-Day Professional Development Course for Young Lawyers (Regional Training at Divisional Headquarter) Abbottabad (February 24th- 28th 2025)

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA), in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, District Bar Associations of Hazara Division, and the District Judiciary Abbottabad, successfully inaugurated a five-day Professional Development Course for Young Lawyers. The regional training, held in Abbottabad from February 24th to 28th, 2025, saw the participation of seventy-five young lawyers from across the Hazara Division.

Mr. Justice Muhammad Faheem Wali, Hon’ble Judge of the Peshawar High Court, Peshawar, graced the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest. Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari delivered a welcome address to the trainees.

The course aimed to enhance the professional skills and ethical standards of young lawyers through practical training and mentorship, fostering an inclusive and equitable legal environment.

The training will cover advanced legal practices, ethical considerations, emerging legal areas, and integrated gender perspectives. Participants will be engaged in sessions designed to improve legal research, analysis, writing, advocacy, and litigation skills. The program also aimed to build confidence, provide networking opportunities, and encourage women lawyers to consider judicial careers, thereby strengthening the legal profession in Pakistan.
