The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) successfully conducted Batch 3 of its pioneering training program titled “AI Tools for Court Staff”, catering to secretarial personnel from the Peshawar High Court and KPJA.
Held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, this one-day workshop was attended by 14 participants, including Court Secretaries, Private Secretaries, and Senior Scale Stenographers. The training is part of KPJA’s broader five-week capacity-building initiative aimed at upskilling court staff in digital tools and AI applications.
The training was conceptualized by Ms. Hina Khan, Director Instructions-I, and conducted under the guidance of Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari, Director General KPJA.
Renowned AI expert Dr. Omar Usman Khan, Director FAST-NUCES Peshawar, led the training, delivering practical demonstrations and insights on how modern generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, LLAMA, DeepSeek, Grok, and others are revolutionizing legal support services.
Participants explored:
• AI for judgment and order drafting
• Smart tools for transcription and legal research
• Document summarization and routine task automation
• Ethical use of AI in handling sensitive legal data
The session concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, group photograph, and lunch — reflecting KPJA’s dedication to fostering technological literacy and responsible innovation within judicial institutions.
