KPJA Officer Attends Training on Conflict Resolution and Peace Building (October 29, 2025)

Mr. Syed Mansoor Shah Bukhari, Research and Publications Officer at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA), attended a one-day training on “Conflict Resolution and Peace Building (Arbitration / Jirga / ADR)” held at the Pakistan Academy for Rural Development (PARD), Peshawar.

The training aimed to enhance understanding of traditional and formal dispute resolution mechanisms, focusing on the role of Arbitration, Jirga, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in promoting peace and community harmony.

The sessions covered the legal framework of ADR, the evolving role of indigenous mechanisms in conflict management, and strategies to strengthen linkages between traditional systems and the formal justice sector.

Participation of KPJA’s officer in such inter-institutional training activities reflects the Academy’s commitment to capacity building, research, and collaboration for advancing effective and inclusive justice in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
