Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Attends Concluding Ceremony at Punjab Judicial Academy (20-Dec-2025)

Mr. Justice S. M. Attique Shah, Honorable Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, attended the concluding ceremony of a specialized judicial training program at the Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore, as the Chief Guest.
The training program focused on Forensic Insight, Artificial Intelligence, and Personal Development & Stress Management, aiming to enhance judicial capacity in response to emerging legal and technological challenges.
In his keynote address, the Honorable Chief Justice appreciated the Punjab Judicial Academy for organizing contemporary and need-based training initiatives. He emphasized the increasing relevance of forensic sciences and artificial intelligence in judicial proceedings and stressed that modern judges must equip themselves with scientific understanding and technological awareness to ensure effective dispensation of justice. He further highlighted the importance of personal development and stress management, observing that judicial efficiency, independence, and impartiality are closely linked with mental well-being and emotional balance.
Mr. Justice Jawad Hassan, Judge, Lahore High Court, also participated in the ceremony and accompanied the Honorable Chief Justice during his visit to the Academy.
Earlier, Mr. Justice S. M. Attique Shah, along with a foreign delegation, visited the classrooms and IT Lab of the Punjab Judicial Academy, where he interacted with participants and faculty members, reviewed training facilities, and observed the use of modern instructional technologies in judicial education.
The Honorable Chief Justice commended the efforts of the Punjab Judicial Academy in promoting professional excellence within the judiciary and fostering inter-provincial and international collaboration.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participants.
